Duende Now will bring Federico García Lorca's concept of the duende, his theory of artistic creation and performance, into a contemporary context. The event will feature a staged conversation among three artists and artistic practices--flamenco dance, poetry, and folk music--in an effort to give audience members an experience of this creative force. The 45-minute performance will be followed by a reception with Spanish bites and wine.
